Loss of SIS access in PartStore for Techs - Refresh needed after accepting privacy agreement
Issue this morning with the  losing access to the Order Parts button, Price & Availability after accepting the Cat privacy agreements.
SIS Web Customers please refresh or log out and log back in to get the Order Parts button to reappear. Jun 8, 2017 Caterpillar Outage: RESOLVED

Resolved: Caterpillar reports all systems are functioning normally

Caterpillar is experiencing issues with multiple websites.

This is effecting the customers ability to log in and use the systems.

They may be seeing "invalid user id / password" errors.

Caterpillar is aware and working on the issues. This alert will be updated when we recieve an ETA or the issues are resolved.

PartStore Mar 17, 2017 Planned System Maintenance

The Peterson business system will be down March 18 and 19 for maintenance. We will be unable to receive any online orders during this time.

The system should be restored at approximately 8am on March 20.

PartStore Mar 13, 2017 Goes Live March 23, 2017

The day is finally here, it’s time to start using to place your online parts orders.

Caterpillar has made vast improvements to the new website to improve efficiency, and added familiar features to make parts of the ordering process similar to PartStore.

Please take a moment to login to the new site before Mach 23, take a look around, and call us with any questions. Our goal is to support your online ordering and we aim to make this transition as seamless as possible.

Here are some recommendations to help you transition to

  1. Save the home page of this website as your new favorite to login to
  2. Log in to and set your default shipping preferences
  3. View a pdf showing where to set your shipping preferences

PartStore Dec 29, 2016 Windows XP and IE 9 will not connect

As of January 1 computers that use Windows XP and / or an earlier version of Internet Explorer 9 will not be able to connect to applications provided by Caterpillar, including PCC, PartStore, VisionLink, SOS Web, and SIS.
Please contact your company's IT department for assistance in updating any operating systems or browsers you are using.

To view graphics in SISweb and place orders online you can upgrade to Internet Explorer 10 or use Google Chrome.

We are looking into what versions of Internet Explorer 9 may be compatible and will update this alert accordingly.



PartStore Oct 5, 2016 (RESOLVED) PartStore Login Error

Resolution: The issue affecting customer logins in PartStore has been resolved. Please log in to your account and place your orders online.

Try to use your original password. If that does not work, pleas click forgot password, enter your email address and send a request for a password reset.

Please log off all open internet sessions and perform a browser refresh. The browser refresh will clear your error messages.
